| Meet the Achieve Ability Families |
|
Families come to AchieveAbility with backgrounds characterized by
homelessness, poverty, lack of access to quality health care, unemployment,
low educational attainment, substance abuse disabilities and/or family
violence.
Families stay with AchieveAbility for three to five years, the time it
normally takes to pursue their education, obtain career-focused employment and
develop the life skills necessary for independence.

"At AchieveAbility, as families build their
skills, the parents and children develop a belief in themselves and their
future that transcends their education.
"Education unleashes their ability and capacity
to achieve.
'It's awesome as they see the correlation between education and the
knowledge that they have options."
Jacques Ferber, Executive Director, AchieveAbility
